Cuando viene a la música creo que soy un tanto privada. La razón es por que hay ciertos momentos de mi vida que se definen con música, una especie de soundtrack personal que representa “estos momentos” y el por que de ellos y en su mayoría “estos momentos” son muy míos, algo egoísta pero necesario para darles cierto valor personal.. Definir un gusto musical es difícil pues vale destacar que para cada uno de esos momentos hay ciertas notas las cuales logran definir algo significativo. Pronto les traeré mi lista musical para la primera pero hoy les quiero hablar sobre lo que puede ser uno de los grupos mas recurrentes en el soundtrack de mi vida. THE PIERCES son un grupo de Nueva York que presentan un genero psicodélico, alternativo y hasta folclórico de la música americana. Compuesto por dos hermana, Allison y Catherine Pierce quienes brindan música a mi vida que siempre ha sido fresca, hermosa y sumamente serena. La canción que me marco de ellas se llama “Three Wishes” y sin duda es una de las canciones que nunca faltara en mi iPod, iPhone, iPad y hasta en el music list de emergencia del BlackBerry. Hoy en día gozan del álbum “You & I” y de el aquí le presento (junto a Three Wishes) l canción “It Will Not Be Forgotten”… Disfruten!

When it comes to music I like to think I’m a tat private. The reason of this, is that there are certain moments of my life that are definitely define by music, as if I had a personal soundtrack that explains moments and the reason of these moment which most of the time are very personal. It might be a bit selfish but that give those “moments” I treasured a more significant meaning. Also saying that I have a preference in a specific music genre is absurd because as I was saying each of those moments are define by musical notes and themselves give them moments a meaning, an important one. So soon I might bring you my own personal soundtrack for the spring, as some might say “sharing is caring” but today I want to talk to you about a group that its always present on the soundtrack of my life, THE PIERCES. Presenting a psychedelic, alternative and folkloric genre, sister Allison and Catherine Pierces bring music to my life that is always serene, beautiful and fresh. The one song that caught my attention from them was Three Wishes, which it’s “must be always present” at my iPhone, iPad, iPod and even my blackberry emergency list. Today they have a new album, “You and I” and along with “three wishes” I present you “It Will Not be Forgotten”… Enjoy!
